Noise ordinance is 10pm at our Inn, so any outside noise or loud music needs to conclude by then, you may have an afterparty inside until midnight with quiet background music playing in the house.

We will require a certificate of insurance from any of your vendors, but it is not required to have as a couple.

There is no additional fee to host your ceremony on site and we have 100 white garden folding chairs we’ll set up as well as an arbor onsite that you can decorate with your own florals.

We are happy to discuss options with you based on your guest count and ceremony location.

Shelter Harbor Inn provides tables, chairs, standard white linens, glassware, silverware, plateware, setup & breakdown. You’ll also work with our event planning team and have an on-site day-of coordinator to help ensure your wedding day with us runs smoothly!

We do have three guest rooms that are dog friendly, and your furry friends are welcome throughout our outdoor spaces, they can even take part in your ceremony if you’d like!

We have 22 guest rooms across three buildings on our property. The Wagner Suite is traditionally used for the bridal suite as there is a large living room area with a half bathroom, couches, dining table and chairs, barstools for hair and makeup and full length mirrors.

Our indoor event space is ideal for seated receptions for up to 100 guests and our property can accommodate tents for up to 175 guests.

Our property is an 1800’s Historic Farmhouse, we do have a wheelchair accessible entrance with a ramp, however our property is large and some outdoor areas may prove more difficult to access.

You will be the only wedding happening at Shelter Harbor Inn, and we also won’t schedule any venue tours that day either! Daily Food & Beverage Minimums do apply.

Part of your site fee includes a day-of coordinator. You are more than welcome to work with your own wedding planner or coordinator if you’d prefer.

Shelter Harbor Inn has a liquor permit, and all of your bar packages would be provided through us.

Any wedding receptions up to 100 guests inside would be catered by our own in-house culinary team. Any larger weddings you would work with our exclusive catering partner, Pranzi Catering & Events.

You are more than welcome to work with your own photographers, DJs, bands, florists, etc. We also have a preferred vendors list we are happy to share with our couples once they book. Any food, beverage, equipment rentals and tents would be through either Shelter Harbor Inn or our exclusive catering partner, Pranzi Catering & Events.

We want your vision and personality to show through, and you’re more than welcome to bring in your own decor elements for your special day. Please ensure that any installation methods are non-damaging (no nails, staples, or adhesives that can cause paint removal or residue) and nothing can be hung on our sprinkler system. Open flame candles must be contained in hurricane glass, votives or sleeves. We also have many items left behind from prior events that you are welcome to borrow for the day.
